More information about this Ernie Ball
More information about this Ernie Ball
The Ernie Ball 2229 Hyper Slinky electric guitar strings are designed for players who want a modern string feel combined with powerful tone. With gauges ranging from .008 to .042 inches, this set offers a unique blend of smooth playability on the high strings and extra punch in the low strings. This balance makes the Hyper Slinky series perfect for fast solos, tight rhythm parts, and versatile genres like rock, metal, pop, and punk.
Made of durable nickel steel, the strings deliver a bright, dynamic tone with excellent intonation and long-lasting performance. The slightly thicker lower strings provide extra definition and control for palm muting and more aggressive playing, while the lightweight upper strings allow for effortless bending and fast licks. The Ernie Ball 2229 Hyper Slinky is the ideal choice for guitarists who combine modern playing styles with classic tone quality.
