Pirastro P314131 violin string E-1 thick, ball end, steel core, aluminum

The Pirastro P314131 E-1 is a thick E string for violin with a ball end, built around a robust steel core. The aluminum winding provides a sparkling, bright top end and excellent response in fast passages, so that high notes resonate sharply and clearly in orchestral and chamber music. Thanks to the ball end, it fits easily on virtually all standard violin tailpieces, ensuring quick replacement and reliable fit during rehearsals and performances.

This E string offers extra tension and stability, giving players with a strong bow greater projection without compromising intonation. It's ideal for violinists who want a powerful, clear top end for classical repertoire, but also suitable for modern styles where quick articulation and a direct response are key. With the P314131 E-1, you'll acquire a professional, consistent string that combines long playing life with consistent tone throughout the register.
