More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P219361 D-3 (14) is a gut core violin string with a silver winding. This D-string delivers a warm, full tone with clear projection and a quick response, allowing for smooth interpretation of classical pieces and studio work. The gut core provides a direct, agile tongue and maintains intonation across dynamic nuances, which is especially beneficial when articulating legato and rapidly. The silver winding adds brightness and presence, allowing the string to perform well in orchestral and recital settings without losing its character. This string is ideal for violinists who combine the gut tradition with a touch of sparkle in the overtones, allowing Romantic passages and Baroque elements to stand out clearly in the timbre.
