Pirastro P311321 violin string E-1 medium (26), ball end, silvery steel

The Pirastro P311321 E-1 medium (26) violin string with ball end and silvery steel delivers a bright, direct high E with excellent projection and response. Its steel construction maintains stability in tone and intonation, particularly noticeable during fast articulations and passages with a lot of movement. The ball-end attachment ensures a reliable connection to most violin tailpieces, making replacement and installation easier. With medium tension, it offers a balanced playing feel and durability, ideal for both beginners and advanced violinists seeking clear articulation and clarity in the upper registers. This string is particularly suitable for players who want a sharp, sparkling high-pitched timbre without sacrificing sustain or intonation in chamber music, orchestral work, or contemporary repertoire. The silvery steel provides fast response and clarity, even in complex passages. Practical tips: replace the string if it shows signs of tone loss or wear for optimal intonation. Store in a dry place and, if not in use for long periods, remove the string from the fork to avoid direct contact with oil or sweat to reduce corrosion.
