Pirastro P311931 violin string E-1 thick (267), loop end, silvery steel

The Pirastro P311931 E-string for violin offers extra presence in the high register thanks to its E-1 gauge (267). Featuring a loop end and a steel core wrapped in a silver-colored winding, this string delivers quick response and stable intonation, regardless of bowing technique. The design fits seamlessly into a standard violin tailpiece, ensuring secure attachment and consistent tension during rehearsals and performances.

This string is ideal for violinists seeking greater focus and projection in the high end without sacrificing clarity. The thicker gauge adds body to the E string, which is especially noticeable with quick articulations and long builds. Whether you play in an orchestra, chamber music, or solo, the P311931 offers consistent tone control and reliable, long life with regular playing.
