More information about this Pirastro
More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P314721 E-1 medium, ball end, steel is a medium gauge E-string for violins. The ball-end attachment ensures a secure connection to ball-end violin tailpieces and prevents looseness during playing. Because of its steel base material, this string offers a direct response and a bright, transparent upper register that is easy to articulate, both in classical musical contexts and with contemporary playing styles.
Ideal for violinists seeking quick response and consistent intonation, with a tone that rings out clearly in recordings and performances. The E-1 medium is popular with players who want clear high string response without sacrificing durability, ensuring comfort during long rehearsals and tours, and maintaining tuning stability across varying playing techniques.
Specifications:
- Type: Violin E-string
- Model: E-1
- Thickness: Medium
- Material: Steel wire (steel)
