More information about this Rotosound
The Rotosound SM665 Swing Bass 66 is a hybrid string set for 5-string electric bass guitars, available in a lighter gauge of 040-125. This long-scale set is made of stainless steel with a roundwound winding and offers the perfect balance between smooth playing comfort and a bright, punchy sound. Thanks to its hybrid construction, this set is ideal for bassists who want the articulation of lighter strings with a tight, defined low B string.
Since its introduction in 1962, the Swing Bass 66 series has become the standard for roundwound bass strings. Using a unique steel formula and a secret manufacturing process, Rotosound delivers top-quality strings with consistent tonal quality and long lifespan. The SM665 is popular with bassists seeking versatility while enjoying the classic Rotosound character, as heard in the music of artists like Billy Sheehan, John Paul Jones, and Geddy Lee.
