Description
The CTS CTS500-A73 is a 500K vintage audio taper potentiometer with a split shaft and standard .375" (9.5mm) bushing. This potentiometer is suitable for pickguard or control plate mounting in guitars such as the Strat®, Tele®, Jazz Bass®, or Precision Bass®. The 500K value is perfect for use with humbuckers and provides a clear, open tone with minimal high-end loss.
The vintage taper (30% log) offers smooth and consistent volume control, reminiscent of classic Fender designs. The knurled split shaft makes this pot suitable for push-on knobs without an adjustment screw. An excellent choice for upgrades, replacements, or custom builds with USA specifications.
