Description
The NitorLACK Freeze Spray 400 ml is designed to create a realistic vintage checking effect on guitars with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. By directly and extremely cooling the lacquer layer, a controlled thermal shock is created, resulting in natural hairline cracks that resemble the aging of classic vintage instruments. Depending on the application, you can apply the effect locally or distribute it over larger areas.
The spray distance allows you to determine the type of craquelure pattern. A short distance creates compact, fine spiderweb-like cracks, while a greater distance produces wider and more open crack patterns. The spray leaves no moisture or residue and gives visible results within seconds. For the best effect, the nitrocellulose lacquer should be fully cured, with a recommended drying time of 2 to 3 weeks.
