Description
NitorLACK N920736212 is a fine, high-purity pumice powder extracted from volcanic silicate rocks. It contains silica and aluminum oxide, among other ingredients, which ensures a gentle yet effective finish for finishing techniques. This powder is often used as a filler in traditional French polishing, where, despite its cloudy color, it forms a transparent finishing paste when combined with shellac.
Besides using it with shellac, this pumice powder can also be mixed with alcohol and possibly oil to fill wood pores. This creates a smooth surface ideal for further finishing. Depending on the desired application, it can also be used with water or liquid kerosene. This product is a versatile tool for both professional finishers and artisan woodworkers.
