The StewMac Fret Eraser is a flexible, self-dampening polishing block specifically designed for refining and polishing frets on stringed instruments. Each block is impregnated with abrasive, providing a safe, clean way to remove fine filing marks and scratches after crowning frets. Color-coding makes it easy to choose the correct grit and use it in sequence for professional results. Frets are smoothed and feel buttery-soft while playing.
Unlike traditional sandpaper or steel wool, the Fret Eraser doesn't leave a messy residue and is easy to use. Guitar expert Erick Coleman even calls it a faster and easier solution than his previous methods. Whether you need a single grit for a small job or want to assemble a complete set, these individual Fret Erasers are available in seven different grits.
