Description
The StewMac SM13602 is a precision refret saw with a 0.58mm (0.023") blade thickness, specifically designed for clean and controlled fret slot cutting. This saw is ideal for removing old glue or wood dust and cutting slots to size, even on bound fingerboards where standard fret saws fall short. Thanks to Dan Erlewine's design, this saw features two blades: one for the pull stroke and one for the push stroke, providing maximum control during the cut.
With its slim 10mm blades and a total length of 24cm, the SM13602 is ideal for precise work on radiused or delicate fingerboards. The wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand and contributes to stability during intensive use. This saw is an essential part of any guitar builder's or repairer's workshop equipment.
