The Dörfler DV6A is a high-quality 4/4 violin bow from the Brazilwood basic collection, specially designed for beginning violinists. The octagonal shaft is made of massaranduba, a heavy, hardwood that fits comfortably in the hand and provides stability and control while playing. These qualities also make the bow very suitable for young beginners.
The DV6A features an ebony frog with a single eye, backplate, and a three-pronged end cap. The metal winding and mother-of-pearl or iris finish create a classic, refined look. This bow offers an excellent balance of playability, tone, and durability—ideal for beginners learning the violin.
